NEBA Recap: The Championship Tournament.

NEBA 12U went 2-3 and lost in the semi finals to OGP 12U Elite. NEBA 12’s got off to a slow start by losing the first 2 games of the tournament. NEBA then bounced back winning the next 2 games to make it to the final four. NEBA did not have enough to get over the hump but made a respectable push in this national event.

NEBA 15U went 1-3 and lost in the 2nd round of the playoffs. The good new from this weekend was that our 14U team competed as our 15U team. This team was literally thrown into the fire. Day 1 it was about getting the nerves out, and understanding the physicality of this level of basketball. Day 2 the team play excellent, I seen a lot of good things. For this group it was a eye opening experience that will prepare us for the next one.

NEBA 16U went 3-1 and had the best start of all the NEBA teams. They started off 3-0 running through all the team in their pool. NEBA 16U lost in the semi finals to a team from San Diego. NEBA was under man and looked as if we ran into a wall. We miss to many layups and by only have 6 guys it made it hard to get into a flow. I was very pleased with the result of this weekend for this group.

Overall, I was very impressed with this weekend. From the old to the new our future is bright at NEBA.
